What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

Contact Forms

Information provided in contact forms is used for the purpose of replying and providing information requested. Since most of the time the information provided through contact forms is spam, the information is generally discarded immediately.  For legitimate inquiries, we’ll keep the information as long as necessary to handle the issue.

This site has multiple social media tracking codes that act like cookies.  This information is used for marketing purposes as well as to provide information to help us improve the website.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Google Analytics as well as social media analytics tracking is used to improve the website and deliver content relevant to the website visitor. To opt out of Google Analytics data collection, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Brower Add-on, located here.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not share your information with anyone or any business outside of the following:

  • 3rd party tools used to communicate with customers (such as email providers)
  • 3rd party software used to support delivery of content and information (such as the website hosting provider)
  • Other 3rd party software - when necessary, we use additional software to support delivery of website services (such as content delivery networks).

How Long We Retain Your Data

We retain customer data per the requirements of current IRS and local laws.  For website use, we retain personal information as it relates to the delivery of customer services.  For example, if you send us an inquiry, we will keep your inquiry on file for reference in the event you contact us again.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

For the most part, the only data you need to control is the cookies!  That's a setting in your browser.  Just search "how to block cookies" + the browser name and you'll find dozens of articles on how to adjust the settings for your specific browser.

Customer information must stay on file for the required time for the IRS - so, good luck calling them.  Other than that, there really isn't anything you need to worry about.

Where We Send Your Data

We only share your information with the appropriate supporting software programs (such as email platforms), payment providers, and vendors for products you purchase through us.
